Ghassan Tueni Runs For Slain Son's Parliamant Seat

Ghassan Tueni, the father, has heeded the call and has agreed to run for his slain son's seat in Parliament.

"Nobody knows how many rebellions, besides political rebellions, ferment in the masses of life which people earth."

i don't think that was a good move.
the only good thing about it is that it will spare us the battles that should actually be democratic but in Lebanon they turn into something else!

I am sorry for Ghassan's loss but I am also fed up with these hereditary successions. I will not vote for him.

I am all for him taking up this challenge.

He is well respected and reverred by all the factions in Lebanon. His role in Parliament will not just be in the context of an MP for Achrafieh, but a Father figure, one that is badly needed in these almost desperate times.

Why does it always have to be relatives?
