Karami: Let Hariri Demonstration Feed You!

Can you believe that three students were kicked out of an orphanage funded by PM Omar Karami in Tripoli because their parents attended the Monday demonstrations in Beirut? The orphanage principal told the children, "Let the Hariri demonstration feed you and dress you."

I'm just amazed at the pettiness of Karami's moves. Where does he think he's heading?...

Hey Amal, Doha will get back to you soon.

But if you don't mind, I'd like to know how your co-workers at al Jazeera reacted to the protest that took place on Monday. I noticed that coverage was kind of scant!

The al Jazeera journalist who was imprisoned in Spain was released on the same day, and he got the headline at the expense of the protest!

A few words would do just fine.

Thanks!

Wow! What a dumb move! The sympathy those kids will get will tar K. forever. He's history. Of course, he is a dead politician walking anyway . . . .
