Universities' Organizational Force Missing!

An interesting article by Al-Balad daily wrote about how universities and university students were not a major organizationl force taking part in yesterday's demonstrations. The article ends with a thought on how in France last month, universities were behind the government backing down on a law that would loosen restrictions on hiring and firing French youth. There was something missing yesterday, indeed.

"Nobody knows how many rebellions, besides political rebellions, ferment in the masses of life which people earth."

That's very weird!
Because as we know students in lebanon are usually really keen on attending labor union demonstrations!
Tres weird if I may add!

I never knew that University students are members of the labor union.

Don't you think they should wait until they graduate and see if they can find a job in Lebanon or end up somewhere else in the world, like thousands before them?

Great demonstration, more to come.

Enjoy.

Easy there fellas. Niether is the veiled "7ajjeh" sporting the orange flag part of an organized labour union.
Clearly the post was meant to convey a simple fact: that the young educated Lebanese youth did not seem to have come out in great numbers yesterday. Job security in Lebanon is enormous, so if anyone has anything at stake, it would be the college students who dont have a job yet!

And the responses were meant to convey a simple fact that students did what they usually do when there are labor union demonstations, skip classes and go to the beach :-)
