This blog was created to honor the memory of Lebanese heroes of all sects who were assassinated for their patriotic stands. May God bless their souls and bless Lebanon.

If only...
A powerful contrast between our proclaimed ideals and the reality we live in.
Yes, the Exotica ads are world-class; I see that they know how to tap into the modernizing Lebanese psyche. I suppose that you could put another billboard adjacent to it from a travel agency offering trips to Cyprus - a partnership, perhaps?

Great ad. H&C/Leo Burnett has come up with some pretty good ideas since March 14.

Raja, to be fair, the exotica campaign is not one about "our proclaimed ideals".
I'm sure you noticed the Khteefé one. (for those who don't speak arabic, it's a marriage where the bride marries an 'unwanted' groom behind her parents' back)
Hardly a proclaimed ideal, don't you think?
..I forgot to add. There's also one entitled: "forced marriage"
Mustapha, I was not aware of the entire Exotica campaign. The advertizement I posted here was the only one I saw.
My focus was not on Exotica, but on the civil marriage part. And, to be honest with you, that does reflect my own ideals.
A thought came to my mind as I was taking the picture: is the issue so trivial in Lebanon that it is being used to promote Exotica's products?!?!
But, then again, another side of me says that any exposure is good enough.
